What Is a Lucky 15 Bet?
A Lucky 15 is a multiple bet comprising 15 individual wagers on four selections:
- 4 singles
- 6 doubles
- 4 trebles
- 1 four-fold accumulator
Total stake (win-only) = 15 × unit stake Total stake (each-way) = 30 × unit stake
Because it covers every combination of four selections, a Lucky 15 guarantees a return—even if only one selection wins—making it a powerful tool for both seasoned matched-bettors and newcomers alike.
Why Use the Oddsmart Lucky 15 Calculator?
Complete Coverage
Placing a Lucky 15 manually means calculating 15 separate bets. Our calculator does the heavy lifting instantly—no more paper-and-pen, no more spreadsheets scattered across tabs.
Odds Conversion
Input your odds in Decimal, Fractional, or American format. We convert them all under the hood so you can work in whichever notation you prefer.

Want to cover both win and place outcomes? Toggle “Each-Way,” and the calculator doubles your bets, computes place-odds adjustments, and shows your place returns alongside win returns.
Bookmaker Bonuses
Many firms offer Lucky 15 perks—10 % extra if all four win, a consolation boost when only one wins, even a “one-loser” bonus. Define your bonus levels, and Oddsmart applies them to your return.

The calculator outputs:
- Singles (Win): Returns from each winning leg (2 winners)
- Singles (Place): Returns from each placing leg (3 placed in top 4)
- Doubles, Trebles, Four-fold: Payouts only for combinations where all legs meet their win/place criteria

Popular Lucky 15 Bet Calculator FAQs
What’s the difference between a Lucky 15 and a standard accumulator?
A single four-fold accumulator is just one bet that pays only if all four selections win. A Lucky 15 covers that four-fold plus all the underlying singles, doubles and trebles—so you get some return even if only one or two selections win.
Why use each-way on a Lucky 15?
Each-way doubles your bets and covers both win and place outcomes. If a selection places but doesn’t win, you still receive a place return—potentially generating profit even when not all selections win.
How do Rule 4 deductions affect my returns?
Rule 4 reduces your profit on a horse that loses a field-mate before the off. For example, a 10p Rule 4 on 5.0 decimal odds produces effective odds of 1 + (5–1)×0.9 = 4.6. Always check for late withdrawals and adjust your stakes accordingly.
What happens if a selection is void?
A void selection (non-runner) returns your stake on that leg and effectively reduces the combination by one. For example, a double with one void and one winner becomes a single on the winner.
How are dead-heats handled?
In a dead-heat tie for first, your stake is divided equally among tied runners, then each portion is paid at the full odds. Oddsmart simplifies this by dividing the profit portion of the decimal odds by the number of tied runners.
Do bonuses apply to each-way place bets?
No—bookmakers typically only apply Lucky 15 bonuses to the win part of each-way bets. Place returns are paid at standard place terms and are not bonused.
Can I use different place terms per selection?
Our calculator allows you to select place terms individually for each selection—handy if you mix horse racing with greyhound or other sports markets with varying place configurations.
How do I interpret a negative profit?
If your Total Return is less than your Total Stake, the Profit cell will show a negative figure (your net loss). Use this information to refine your strategy—perhaps lowering stakes or changing which promotions you target.
