A free bet is a promotion from the bookmakers – whereby you get a free bet, if you meet certain conditions.
These are usually given to new customers upon signup. Regular punters also get free bets from their bookies.
Qualifying bets are bets made, in order to claim free bets.
For example if an offer says “Bet £10 Get £20” – the Qualifying Bet is £10 and the Free Bet/s is £20.
